About the Role

The Associate Director, Patient and APP Marketing - CELMoDs at Bristol-Myers Squibb is responsible for supporting the development of patient and healthcare provider engagement strategies for the CELMoDs portfolio in multiple myeloma. This role involves leading initiatives in market research, patient insight development, messaging, promotional asset creation, and media management to shape oncology patient marketing and APP engagement, ultimately impacting patient outcomes and advancing the company's mission to improve lives affected by multiple myeloma.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and execute the vision and strategy for patient- and APP-focused initiatives across the CELMoDs portfolio.
  • Assist with consumer-related activities including message development, campaign creation, marketing plan development, and business/channel analytics.
  • Develop comprehensive APP plans, including personal and NPP engagement, and collaborate with CNCs to create engaging and educational resources.
  • Oversee the successful and timely execution of plans and tactics.
  • Demonstrate strong financial stewardship over the budget using all budget management tools.
  • Collaborate with matrix partners across marketing, medical, AI&A, omnichannel strategy, sales, legal, and compliance teams to develop and execute high-impact marketing materials.
  • Build relationships with US Oncology Patient Marketing leads, advocacy groups, and corporate communications to support strategic programs.
  • Manage multiple agency teams and foster collaborative partnerships.
  • Ensure all activities comply with BMS's values, policies, SOPs, and applicable laws and regulations.

Requirements

  • BA degree or equivalent; MBA or other advanced degree preferred.
  • 5-7 years of relevant marketing or brand management experience, preferably in oncology or multiple myeloma.
  • Experience in managing external resources such as advertising and media agencies.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organization and prioritization skills.
  • Experience in conducting primary and secondary market research to derive key insights.
  • Experience leading multi-functional teams to achieve objectives.

Nice to Have

  • Oncology experience is helpful but not required.
  • Experience with US market launch is advantageous.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree or MBA preferred.
  • Relevant marketing/brand management experience of 5-7 years.
