Associate Director, Regional Marketing - Oncology Portfolio - Western USA is responsible for engaging healthcare professionals, developing thought leader relationships, executing regional programs, and supporting brand strategy within the Western US territory, with up to 50% travel.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain relationships with Oncology Thought Leaders (TLs) in the field of prostate cancer through various channels and activities to create positive product perception and deep relationships.
  • Identify and recommend TLs to provide brand insight, collaborating with the local team to focus on top influencers and scientific leaders.
  • Develop and maintain clinical expertise to challenge and advance TL thinking, leveraging data, brand strategy, and messaging.
  • Contribute to sentiment tracking along the TL Journey and collaborate on strategies to motivate TLs to become brand champions.
  • Coordinate and execute plans for company presence at regional and national prostate conferences, including content repurposing, staffing, and exhibit design.
  • Lead TL meetings and support senior leadership encounters at conferences and industry meetings.
  • Attend scientific sessions to enhance clinical expertise and share insights with sales and brand teams.
  • Lead marketing-initiated peer-to-peer (P2P) speaker programs and support field-led speaker initiatives.
  • Maintain and develop the speaker bureau, including training, utilization tracking, and identifying new speakers.
  • Localize marketing initiatives and digital programs to meet regional needs and improve processes.
  • Coordinate and share customer insights and intelligence with internal partners to support brand strategy.
  • Lead advisory boards, develop objectives, oversee execution, and share insights with stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with teams to enable field engagement opportunities such as sponsorships, conferences, and events.
  • Travel up to 50% for customer engagement, conferences, and internal meetings.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • 5-7 years' experience in the pharma/biotech industry with at least 2 years of customer-facing experience.
  • 2 years experience working within the oncology or urology therapeutic areas.
  • Proven success in strategic business development, sales, customer engagement, or project management.
  • Experience in creating and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Ability to work effectively cross-functionally and with external partners.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Proactive, results-oriented, and self-motivated.

Nice to Have

  • Bachelor's degree with a life science background.
  • Marketing or leadership experience in sales training, sales management, market access, or other commercial areas.
  • Experience working with academic institutions and key accounts.

Qualifications

  • Educational background in life sciences (preferred).

Benefits & Perks

  • Salary between $150,930 and $226,396.
  • Additional compensation may include bonus or commission.
