About the Role

The Associate Director, Regional Marketing, is a field-based position focused on engaging with key opinion leaders (KOLs) in dermatology and rheumatology within the Pacific Northwest territory. The role involves providing insights into regional opportunities, supporting disease state education, speaker development, and executing promotional and patient programs. The position collaborates with cross-functional teams including sales, medical affairs, and market access, and reports to the Director, Regional Marketing as part of the US Dermatology & Rheumatology Marketing Team. The territory includes N. California, Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montana, Hawaii, Nevada, Wyoming, and Alaska, and candidates must reside within this region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage with KOLs in targeted accounts to gather insights and support brand and disease state strategies.
  • Champion the brand, disease state, and commercial strategy through meaningful engagement with healthcare professionals.
  • Support conversations on disease state or product topics, as appropriate.
  • Execute physician engagement activities in the field and at key congresses.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide customer insights and input on strategy, tactics, messaging, and program execution.
  • Lead or support the execution of Advisory Boards and assist in identifying HCP consultants based on profile criteria.
  • Facilitate, participate in, and attend advisory boards as appropriate.
  • Develop and train physician speakers for high-quality speaker programs on disease state and product information.
  • Ensure compliant execution of speaker programs and monitor speaker performance at live and virtual events.
  • Provide field-based training to speakers and engage with KOLs to solicit feedback.
  • Support account planning for sales teams and provide field-based training support when needed.
  • Work professionally and in accordance with the company's Code of Ethics and Business Conduct.
  • Travel regularly by air or car, and work evenings and weekends as required.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in product marketing, field sales, or medical affairs.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Dermatology or Rheumatology.
  • Experience with thought leader engagement, advisory boards, and speaker bureaus is strongly preferred.
  • Proven ability to manage large geographical territories.
  • Ability to build productive stakeholder relationships and meet their needs effectively.
  • Strong business acumen with understanding of market dynamics and corporate goals.
  • Clinical knowledge and aptitude in complex/competitive disease states.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills, with organizational abilities.
  • Self-driven with strong organizational and planning skills.
  • Ability to leverage interpersonal styles to gain acceptance of ideas or plans.
  • Highly collaborative with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Willingness to travel frequently and work evenings and weekends.
