About the Role

GDIT is looking for a strategic marketing professional to join the growing GDIT corporate marketing team. As a Marketing Manager, you will support campaign development for the Defense market and company-wide technology efforts. You will oversee and execute strategic and tactical development, delivery, and measurement of priority campaigns, collaborating with creative marketing teams, technical subject matter experts, alliance partners, and the wider Growth organization to create best-in-class marketing programs. This role involves contributing to go-to-market strategies, positioning core capabilities, and maintaining close relationships with Growth/Business Development and Technology leadership to align marketing efforts with business activities in the Defense space.

Key Responsibilities

  • Creating strategic and measurable go-to-market plans that align with overarching growth and brand goals.
  • Building consultative relationships with subject matter experts, business development/growth, and operational teams.
  • Consulting with external marketing vendors and media partners to support integrated marketing campaigns.
  • Collaborating with GDIT's technology partner ecosystem and supporting co-marketing initiatives.
  • Acting as an ambassador for the marketing team, demonstrating the value of strategic marketing.
  • Working effectively within a large matrixed organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, Journalism or a related discipline.
  • 5+ years of combined experience in marketing, corporate communications, brand management, and/or public relations agency work.
  • Strong and highly effective writing, public speaking, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Experience in cross-channel marketing communications (PR, events, digital, and social media).
  • Knowledge of US Federal Government IT industry services, systems, and products marketplace and related media.
  • Willingness to submit writing samples upon request.

Nice to Have

  • Experience designing integrated marketing campaigns in the technology sector.
  • Experience with alliance partner marketing and executing campaigns in the technology sector.
  • Ability to translate strategic plans into actionable execution.
  • Leadership and coaching skills across functional teams.
  • Business savvy with understanding of managing and investing marketing budgets.

Qualifications

  • Educational background with Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in relevant disciplines.
