Key Responsibilities

  • Set the Division strategic direction and oversee tactical implementation of activities, including development of marketing plans and activities that drive product flow and highlight differentiation and value.
  • Be a focal point for product and market knowledge, planning/execution, and achievement of business objectives within the Heart Failure Division.
  • Identify customer and market needs/wants, lead concept and product development, and manage product launches with an emphasis on Market Development and therapy access.
  • Develop and oversee execution of the marketing plan, including market segmentation, targeting, positioning, and all aspects of the marketing mix (product, place/distribution, price, promotion).
  • Anticipate new market demands, create new markets, and provide leadership for product/concept justification during funding cycles.
  • Support commercial organizations in achieving plan objectives and provide direction to in-house groups affecting business success.
  • Participate in strategic planning initiatives such as portfolio management and Long Range Plan to support profitable growth.
  • Understand competitive offerings and develop positioning and tools to differentiate products profitably.
  • Create clear internal communication channels between Marketing and other functional areas, translating strategic vision into tactical plans.
  • Interface with external vendors, research firms, and customers to grow business profitably and maintain customer focus.
  • Develop the marketing plan incorporating all aspects of the marketing mix and utilize research and customer input for growth opportunities.
  • Lead R&D and support organizations throughout product development, ensuring successful launch and post-launch metrics.
  • Hire, develop, and retain a high-performing Product Management team.
  • Partner with sales leadership to drive strategic vision and increase sales through innovative approaches.
  • Ensure adherence to ethics and compliance standards, setting an example for the Field Support Services organization.
  • Prepare business plans and forecasts, assist with strategic projects, and execute regional and national plans.
  • Develop strategies to deliver superior customer support, maximize sensor utilization, and ensure positive sales growth.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, life sciences, engineering, or related technical discipline.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in strategic marketing, product management, field sales, and people management.

Benefits & Perks

  • Base pay range of $159,100.00 - $293,900.00, with variation based on location.
