About the Role

The Associate Manager - Central Marketing at TDS Telecom is responsible for planning, developing, and executing strategic and tactical marketing initiatives. This role supports new customer acquisition and customer retention through campaigns that drive sales, market penetration, and revenue targets. The position involves leading, implementing, and managing lead generation and promotional campaigns across TDS markets using both traditional and digital marketing tactics. It also includes coordinating events, managing marketing materials, analyzing campaign data, and supporting marketing and sales automation technologies. The role requires collaboration with various teams to facilitate sales and identify market opportunities, all within a company committed to innovation and community connectivity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage commercial lead generation strategies.
  • Schedule and manage creation of new marketing materials.
  • Oversee writing, design, and production of marketing materials.
  • Manage commercial marketing expense budget.
  • Support event coordination activities.
  • Manage direct mail campaigns as needed.
  • Analyze data from marketing tests.
  • Develop and distribute monthly marketing analytics reports.
  • Create and manage special programs to improve customer acquisition.
  • Plan and budget marketing activities to meet goals.
  • Schedule and oversee creation of marketing materials, including digital properties.
  • Manage relationships with vendors.
  • Analyze effectiveness and profitability of marketing initiatives.
  • Assist with developing new programs to increase results and meet company goals.
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing leaders to create, manage, and implement tactical plans.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (or higher) OR 4+ years of professional work experience.
  • 4+ years of experience in marketing or advertising.
  • Understanding of how to analyze sales and marketing initiatives for success, profitability, retention, and customer satisfaction.
  • Well-developed conceptual thinking skills including good intuition and decision-making based on customer needs.
  • Excellent teamwork skills and ability to work with employees at all levels.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong Excel and Office Suite skills, knowledge of CRM or Marketing Automation Software a plus.
  • Successful experience in project management, product management, and process administration.

Nice to Have

  • Knowledge of CRM or Marketing Automation Software.

Qualifications

  • Educational background including a Bachelor's degree or higher, or equivalent professional experience.
