About the Role

The Associate Social Media Specialist at Butler/Till executes paid social campaigns across the agency enterprise. They analyze campaign performance, ensure quality assurance of social campaigns, communicate effectively with internal teams, and stay informed on industry news and trends. This role supports senior staff in campaign activation, optimization, planning, and measurement within a results-driven, collaborative, and purpose-driven agency that is women-owned, B-Corp certified, and 100% employee-owned.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support senior team members in building tactical recommendations backed by data, aligned to client objectives and measurement requirements.
  • Pull, compile, analyze, and interpret results of in-market campaigns to ensure spending and performance meet expectations.
  • Recommend and implement changes to campaign settings to meet or exceed KPIs, documenting optimizations and learnings.
  • Perform quality assurance of social campaigns for a select set of clients with attention to detail.
  • Collaborate with specialists and cross-functional teams to gather insights, offer recommendations, and optimize campaigns.
  • Analyze key performance metrics to measure campaign effectiveness and develop social strategies for clients.
  • Support in planning exercises, including RFPs/RFIs, estimating future costs/performance, and evaluating new vendors.
  • Ensure campaigns are running as expected, develop problem-solving skills, and follow best practices in campaign management.
  • Develop communication and problem-solving skills to address issues and answer client and internal team inquiries.
  • Work with senior team members to analyze, review, and report on campaign effectiveness, and identify new opportunities.
  • Verify analytics dashboard accuracy, troubleshoot reporting issues, and understand cross-channel dependencies to improve overall campaign performance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Business or equivalent work experience.
  • 1+ years of professional experience in an office environment, with familiarity and comfort with productivity tools such as MS Outlook, MS Word, MS Excel.
  • Proactive and curious attitude with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with rapidly changing priorities.

Nice to Have

  • 1+ years of experience managing campaigns in the channel ecosystem.
  • Experience with strategic planning and execution of plans.
  • Proven track record of operating with integrity, commitment, and enthusiasm.
  • Experience working in pharma marketing or a highly regulated industry.

Qualifications

  • Experience managing paid social campaigns and analyzing performance metrics.
  • Familiarity with campaign optimization and quality assurance processes.

Benefits & Perks

  • Compensation range of $40,000 - $51,000 with pay transparency.
  • Total compensation includes ESOP (employee stock ownership plan), annual bonus, full benefits package, and paid time off.
