The Associate Software Engineer will be responsible for defining, designing, and developing solutions for CVS Healthcare PSS domain by applying technical expertise in the latest cloud technologies and web-development methodologies. The role involves coding enterprise-wide applications, conducting system testing and debugging, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and contributing to digital engineering projects from conception to deployment.

Key Responsibilities

Define, design, and develop solutions for CVS Healthcare PSS domain using cloud technologies and web development methodologies.
Code enterprise-wide applications and conduct system testing and debugging.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering managers, business analysts, architects, quality assurance, business partners, developers, and product owners.
Translate business requirements and architectural designs into engineering components.
Participate throughout the entire development life cycle of a product and deliver efficient solutions.
Identify and mitigate risks to the product before deployment to production.

Requirements

0-1 years of software development experience in building enterprise/web/cloud applications using React JS / Angular.
0-1 years of experience in programming languages using Java & Python.
0-1 years of experience working with RDBMS databases (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle, DB2, Postgres).
Good understanding of DevOps tools/processes for CICD (e.g., Jenkins).
Good understanding of Scrum/Agile development methodologies.
Good understanding of build, testing, and deploying code on cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP/Azure).
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.

Nice to Have

Exposure to multi-cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, Azure.
Capable of delivering on multiple competing priorities with little supervision.
Strong problem-solving skills and critical thinking ability.
Excellent verbal and written communication and collaboration skills.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
