About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze, design, implement, test real-time embedded software for electronic industrial HVAC controls.
• Integrate software and hardware, testing and verifying system functionality.
• Help advance software development tools, technology, and processes.
• Estimate tasks and generate schedules for reporting to leadership and end customers.
• Manage field-reported defects.
• Follow established Trane product development procedures and guidelines.

Requirements

• 0-2 years of C++/Python/Microsoft .NET development (C#).
• 0-2 years of developing software using object-oriented design and implementation.
• 0-2 years of MATLAB Stateflow and Embedded Coder software design experience.
• Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.

Nice to Have

• Experience with embedded software development.
• Knowledge of HVAC systems or industrial controls.
• Familiarity with software testing and verification processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering or computer science field.
