About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Automation Lead to drive and oversee our enterprise automation strategy. This individual will lead a team of contractors, define and manage the automation backlog, ensure alignment with our automation framework, and maintain a strong feedback loop with leadership and stakeholders. The role is part of Eight Eleven Group, based in Denver, CO, with a hybrid onsite schedule (4 days a week). The position involves leading large-scale automation initiatives using low-code/no-code tools, particularly TOSCA, and ensuring best practices and continuous improvement in automation processes.

Key Responsibilities

Define and evolve the automation strategy in alignment with business goals.
Champion best practices and scalable automation frameworks.
Collaborate with leadership to prioritize initiatives and ensure alignment.
Supervise and mentor a team of automation contractors.
Ensure consistent delivery, quality, and adherence to standards.
Facilitate knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
Own and manage the automation backlog.
Track progress, manage timelines, and remove roadblocks.
Ensure timely delivery of automation solutions with measurable impact.
Enforce adherence to established automation frameworks and processes.
Identify gaps and recommend improvements.
Maintain a constant feedback loop with leadership and the broader team.
Provide regular updates, insights, and recommendations.
Communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements

7+ years of experience in automation strategy and delivery.
Proven experience leading large-scale automation efforts.
Hands-on experience with low-code/no-code automation tools; TOSCA experience strongly preferred.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
Highly proactive, adaptable, and results-driven.

Nice to Have

Experience in managed services or enterprise IT environments.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and backlog management tools (e.g., Jira).
Ability to work independently and make strategic decisions.
