Automotive Capacitive Sensing Applications Manager and Product Definer

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Lead applications team and manage priorities to align with company goals.
• Define next generation products (specs, features, etc.) based on future customer needs, innovative ideas, competitive analysis, regulatory trends, marketing and R&D inputs, cost constraints, etc.
• Generate and update marketing definition and datasheet.
• Work closely with R&D throughout the design phase and until production release to address any definition-related topic.
• Prepare technical training and promotional material to ensure new product success.
• Hold technical training to sales, reps, distributors, and/or partners worldwide.
• Visit key customers to understand their challenges/needs and promote new products.

Requirements

• 5+ years in semiconductor Applications Management.
• Deep experience with defining sensing technologies and products for automotive applications.
• Capacitive, touch, magnetic/hall sensing experience.
• Good analog and mixed signal circuitry knowledge.
• Self-driven, strong troubleshooting skills as well as adhering to project deadlines and business objectives.
• Able to work in and foster a teamwork environment with a demonstrated ability to share technical knowledge with others.
• Must be an effective communicator with the ability to interface at all levels within the organization, possessing a thorough command of the English language, written as well as verbal.
• Bachelor in Electrical Engineering or equivalent degree required.

Nice to Have

• Master's in Electrical Engineering.
• Bilingual abilities are highly desirable (French/German/Italian/Chinese/Korean/Japanese).

• A reasonable estimate of the pay range for this position is $103,103 - $191,477.
