About the Role

The AWS Data Lead is a senior role responsible for leading data engineering initiatives, collaborating on data migration solutions, and ensuring high-quality delivery of data projects. The position involves managing teams in an onshore-offshore model and working with various cloud technologies and tools to process high-volume business-critical data sets. Key Responsibilities

  • Proficiency in Spark optimization techniques and working with Databricks.
  • Strong knowledge of AWS cloud technologies including S3, EC2, EMR, HIVE, Snowflake, and Airflow.
  • Programming skills in SQL, Python, Spark, PySpark, Hive.
  • Experience with tools such as Git, JIRA, Jenkins.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience in stakeholder management and project management.
  • Familiarity with Agile / Scrum methodologies and CI/CD processes.
