Key Responsibilities

Create new data pipelines leveraging existing data ingestion frameworks and tools.
Orchestrate data pipelines using the Azure Data Factory service.
Develop and enhance data transformations based on requirements to parse, transform, and load data into Enterprise Data Lake, Delta Lake, and Enterprise DWH (Synapse Analytics).
Perform unit testing, coordinate integration testing and UAT.
Create high-level design (HLD), detailed design (DD), and runbooks for data pipelines.
Configure compute, data quality rules, and perform maintenance, performance tuning, and optimization.

Requirements

Minimum of 4 years of work experience with Databricks Data Engineering, DLT, Azure Data Factory, SQL, PySpark, Synapse Dedicated SQL Pool, Azure DevOps, or Python.
Basic understanding of data pipeline creation and orchestration.
Experience with data transformation and loading into data lakes and data warehouses.

Advanced proficiency in PySpark.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Azure Databricks, Azure DevOps, Databricks Delta Live Tables, and Azure Data Factory.
