BI Analyst

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate across multiple teams to research, analyze, and configure data sources according to business needs
• Identify gaps in reporting and business intelligence capabilities and develop long-term solutions
• Develop meaningful reporting using data marts, coordinating input from multiple stakeholders
• Build reports and dashboards to help managers, operators, and team members understand business performance
• Create and maintain KPI dashboards to enable leaders to monitor performance relative to targets
• Productionalize one-time analyses to ensure consistent results and alignment with governed metrics
• Participate in the identification, definition, and testing of company-wide metrics
• Work independently to identify opportunities for new data analysis and self-service tools
• Collaborate with other analytics teams to implement new functions and data across the company
• Develop, document, and maintain tables and views for complex data models used in dashboards and analysis
• Test for data integrity issues and proactively identify risks for data inconsistencies
• Adhere to Wayspring information security and privacy requirements

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience working as an analyst, preferably in the healthcare industry (Managed Care, PBM, BPCI, etc.)
• Experience with BI Toolsets such as Power BI and DAX
• Experience writing SQL queries
• Understanding of standard data models and schemas
• Analytic skills to analyze and interpret data through complex analysis and communicate findings clearly
• Highly self-motivated and curious
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work in cross-functional teams
• Ability to adapt quickly to changes in technology and business environments
• Strong customer service orientation and positive attitude

Nice to Have

• Experience in healthcare industry (Managed Care, PBM, BPCI, etc.)
• Experience with Power BI and DAX
• Proficiency in SQL
