Business Analyst Coordinator - San Antonio, Texas

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Assists with performing data and root cause analysis of business/systems processes related to WellMed supported member eligibility
• Serves as first tier contact in diagnosing and responding to data integrity issues related to member eligibility
• Assists the various enterprise departments by providing support with regard to any WellMed supported eligibility verifications or issues
• Works with Systems Specialist to load EDI eligibility data received from payers into system
• Load and maintain member special status flags to ensure accurate payment of member claims
• Performs all other related duties as assigned
• Conducts and manages outcomes of various studies including analyzing, reviewing, forecasting, trending, and presenting information for operational and business planning
• Supports short and long term operational/strategic business activities by developing, enhancing, and maintaining operational information and models
• Develops and implements effective/strategic business solutions through research and analysis of data and business processes

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in a healthcare environment
• Demonstrated excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Demonstrated excellent customer service skills
• Demonstrated proficient verbal and written communication skills
• Demonstrated proficient computer literacy skills

Qualifications

• Experience in healthcare environment (2+ years)
