About the Role

The Business Analytics Manager is a vital member of the Key Accounts team at the LEGO Group, supporting the delivery of the retail business plan and key growth initiatives. The role involves analyzing data to advise business decisions, collaborating across departments, and building dashboards to report on performance metrics. This position aims to drive flawless execution of business strategies and support the company's mission to inspire and develop the builders of tomorrow.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyzing shipments and consumer sales data to advise business decisions.
  • Blending historical data from internal and external reporting to support customer collaboration.
  • Identifying and analyzing macro and micro performance trends at customer and channel levels to generate actionable insights.
  • Collaborating with other areas of the business such as Market Operations, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Analytics & Insights.
  • Building, modifying, and updating customer dashboards reporting performance on key metrics and trends.
  • Providing insights from available data sources to the broader team to drive decisions and actions.
  • Conducting ad hoc commercial analytics including inventory analytics, assortment analytics, space analytics, claims analysis, etc.

Requirements

  • Experience in a data analytics role within consumer-packaged goods or retail sales.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerBI.
  • Strong data storytelling ability in a retail context.
  • Ability to interpret trends proactively and think critically to challenge the status quo.
  • High level of integrity, enthusiasm, and a presence suitable for a fast-paced, energetic, and collaborative organization.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with high attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated versatility, flexibility, and ability to prioritize in a dynamic environment.
