Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing strategies for growth and identifying new markets and opportunities within the Space & Intelligence Sector.
  • Manage complex pursuits from identification to proposal, leading matrixed teams throughout the capture process to ensure opportunities are qualified and differentiated.
  • Represent the company to vendors and teaming partners, making strategic assessments on capabilities, and establishing risk/reward decisions for every opportunity.
  • Support the development of individual opportunity win strategies, account plans, technology development plans, and partnering strategies.
  • Build the pipeline for organic growth through full lifecycle business development activities, including strategic planning, target identification, and supporting proposal management and customer relations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and 16+ years of professional experience.
  • Proven success with establishing and executing a pipeline of opportunities across the full lifecycle of the business acquisition process.
  • Deep understanding of the Intelligence Community Intelligence Analysis (DI) and Operations (DO) customers, missions, and strategies across DIA DI and DO organizations.
  • Highly effective communicator to all levels within the company and externally with clients.
  • Active Top Secret security clearance, with the ability and willingness to obtain a TS/SCI clearance.

Nice to Have

  • Working knowledge of or experience within all or a combination of the DIA and COCOM J2 customer spaces.
  • Participation in industry groups and conferences to stay current on trends, issues, and technologies in mission areas.
  • Proven track record of teaming and developing mutually beneficial partner relationships with peers and vendors.
  • Strong understanding of Federal procurement, contracting, and financial rules and regulations.
  • Ability to diagnose client needs and propose solutions with measurable business impact.
  • Experience managing the sales cycle using weekly pipeline and account reviews.

Benefits & Perks

  • Target salary range of $176,000 - $282,000, determined by experience, education, skills, and location.
  • Potential eligibility for overtime, shift differential, and discretionary bonuses.
