The role of Business Intelligence Analyst, Associate within the Advanced Transportation Operations Optimization Department involves supporting strategic initiatives, business development, and ensuring the quality and clarity of proposals and deliverables to contribute to operational excellence and organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with subject matter experts to gather, synthesize, and present complex information in a clear and actionable format.
  • Serve as a liaison between technical experts and non-technical stakeholders to ensure mutual understanding and alignment.
  • Contribute to project work by providing insights, recommendations, and informing high-quality deliverables.
  • Coordinate resources and timelines to ensure seamless execution of business initiatives.
  • Optimize operational processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness across projects, teams, and proposals.
  • Support the development of proposals, white papers, presentations, and other business development materials that communicate value propositions.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify growth opportunities and inform strategic decisions.
  • Ensure all deliverables meet high standards of quality, readability, and alignment with client expectations and organizational goals.
  • Review and edit deliverables for clarity, consistency, and professionalism, tailoring them to the target audience.
  • Develop templates, guidelines, and best practices to streamline the creation of high-quality deliverables.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely completion of deliverables while maintaining quality standards.

Requirements

  • Typically requires less than 1 year of related experience with a related Bachelor's degree, or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • 1+ years' experience in technical writing and editing in an aviation/aerospace environment.
  • Experience collaborating with aviation SMEs to develop technical documents.
  • Demonstrated skill in editing highly technical documents to ensure clarity, accuracy, and accessibility for diverse audiences, including non-technical readers.
  • Strong expertise in simplifying complex aviation/aerospace concepts without compromising technical integrity.
  • 1+ years' experience in proposal writing and development.
  • 1+ years' experience supporting a large, dynamic, and fast-paced team.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Microsoft SharePoint.
  • Minimum of 4 days a week on-site work requirement.

Nice to Have

  • Familiarity with aviation/aerospace industry-specific terminology and the ability to translate jargon into clear, concise explanations.
  • Proven capacity to ask insightful questions and conduct supplemental research to bridge knowledge gaps.
  • Self-motivated and adaptable learner with a proven track record of acquiring knowledge in new and unfamiliar domains.
