About the Role

Business Intelligence Analyst - Hybrid (Marketing, Communications & Growth) at Amica. This role involves transforming data into actionable insights, working with the State Management Team, designing and implementing advanced analytical approaches, and helping drive business performance through data analysis and visualization. The position is based at the Lincoln, RI campus and requires onsite days. Key Responsibilities

Engage with internal partners to understand business strategy, questions and goals. Brings structure to business requests, translates requirements into an analytical project approach, and leads complex projects through completion.
Acquire and compile structured and unstructured data, verifies quality and accuracy.
Design, develop, own and manage recurring analytics and reporting processes.
Prepare and deliver expert level reporting and visualizations, including internal presentations that translate analytic insights into tangible, actionable solutions for business partners to implement.
Perform analyses of historical data to surface trends, identify patterns and insights using advanced analytical techniques and uncover opportunities.
Help evaluate potential opportunities to assist stakeholders with evaluating trade-offs for driving business performance.
Perform ongoing monitoring and refinement of analytics and metrics.
Demonstrate a commitment to continuous professional development and a desire to learn new and different skills.

Requirements

Minimum of 3 years relevant analytics work experience.
Experience using data to drive business decisions.
Demonstrated success working with data discovery, analytics, visualization, and business intelligence tools.
Advanced skills in data literacy and knowledge analytics best practices.
Proficiency in Python and SQL.
Proven ability to quickly learn new applications, processes, and procedures.
Strong analytical, quantitative, and logical problem-solving abilities.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Capacity to work productively independently or collaboratively.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Experience with insurance data preferred.

Qualifications

Relevant professional experience in analytics (minimum 3 years).
Proficiency in Python and SQL.
