About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Lead or participate in moderately complex lifecycle initiatives and support tasks, acting as a participant in large-scale planning and deliverables.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements within Securities Operations.
• Review and analyze moderately complex operational tasks or challenges requiring in-depth evaluation.
• Independently resolve moderately complex issues within a trade environment, leveraging understanding of policies, procedures, and compliance requirements; may lead teams to meet deliverables.
• Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve issues and achieve goals; may lead projects, teams, or serve as a mentor for lower-level staff.
• Manage expertise in operational processes including client account onboarding, cash payments, customer service, funding operations, custodial operations, securities settlement services, structured loan operations, and general ledger reconciliation.
• Resolve escalated issues within Security Operations.
• Research business risks, influence policies, review time-sensitive documents and transaction requests.
• Exercise independent judgment in understanding trade settlement workflow controls to minimize operational breakdowns.
• Contribute to team effectiveness, monitor daily securities and cash-related production work.
• Lead or contribute to implementation of projects and new or revised processes and procedures, supporting business strategies and making decisions with financial impact and risk.

Requirements

• 4+ years of Securities Operations experience or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education.
• Proven experience in Business Intelligence.
• Experience in Power BI development and analytics.
• Experience with Alteryx Business Intelligence platform.
• Experience designing, developing dashboards and reports in Tableau.
• Strong analytical skills including data analysis, interpretation, and drawing conclusions.
• Ability to analyze large data sets.
• Ability to develop partnerships and collaborate across business areas.
• Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, and work under pressure in a dynamic environment.

Nice to Have

• Experience in Tableau designing and developing dashboards and reports.
• Experience communicating complex information in both written and verbal formats to all levels of the organization.

Qualifications

• Educational background or training demonstrating 4+ years of Securities Operations experience.
