Positions are located in Scottsdale, San Francisco, Chicago, or New York with a hybrid work model. The role involves evaluating, designing, and developing business intelligence solutions, working closely with multiple business functions and technology partners to interpret metrics into actionable insights, researching best practices, and supporting strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Work with business users to define new and existing requirements for reports and dashboards, and identify gaps in data, logic, and business understanding.
Create complex, visually appealing, and interactive dashboards, scorecards, and reports using Tableau to support business processes, including trends and projections.
Run advanced Business Objects reporting to fulfill requests and serve as data sources for Tableau reporting.
Conduct in-depth data analysis to derive logical results and perform cause and effect analysis based on available data.
Design data ETL processes and manipulations to support production and ad-hoc analyses and reports.
Investigate industry best practices and help guide strategic data platforms, tools, and processes.
Recommend standards, policies, and procedures for BI tools and systems.
Provide support and training to business teams as necessary.
Support the company's commitment to risk management and data/system integrity.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Management, or related field, or specialized training/certification.
Minimum of 5 or more years of relevant experience.
Strong understanding of Tableau Server and Tableau Dashboard.
Demonstrated ability with testing, problem solving, and analysis.
Extensive knowledge of dashboard development, reporting, data modeling, ETL, and systems design.
Expert level experience with MS SQL query language and MS Office Suite.
Experience communicating with both technical and business teams.
High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and exemplary analytical skills.

Nice to Have

Experience with Tableau desktop and Tableau Server.
Experience creating Tableau to Hadoop dashboards using Cloudera Impala and/or Hive.
Experience with Business Objects universes and Webi reports.
Experience utilizing/building connections to cloud SaaS offerings such as AWS, Salesforce, and Google.

Qualifications

Educational background typically obtained through a Bachelor's degree in relevant fields or equivalent training.
