About the Role

The MyMatrixx Product Solutions Team is looking for a Business Project Senior Advisor to lead product development initiatives that align with clients' needs and business goals by acting as the bridge between stakeholders and developers. This role will guide and support the development of solutions through ideation and launch. The position involves gathering and communicating business requirements, planning projects, aligning stakeholders, performing risk analysis and mitigation, managing the product backlog, and prioritizing features to maximize value delivery. It provides counsel and advice to top management on significant Business Project Management matters, often requiring coordination between organizations and cross-functional teams. The role focuses on providing thought leadership and technical expertise across multiple disciplines.

Key Responsibilities

Lead product development initiatives by acting as the bridge between stakeholders and developers.
Gather and validate business sponsor technical requirements to complete the opportunity canvas and present projects to technology, stakeholders, and senior leadership.
Attend technology meetings to clarify business requirements and ensure technical definition of ready.
Ensure business validation of quality testing and participate in release schedules as needed.
Create and maintain a roadmap of projects and products at macro and feature levels.
Monitor project progress using preferred tools to ensure timely delivery, capturing risks, mitigation strategies, and acceptance criteria.
Manage project level budgets and escalate concerns or risks to the director.
Interact with clients and prospects to understand requirements and represent technical products.

Requirements

4-year undergraduate degree or 8+ years of experience in product or project management.
Experience in end-to-end project and stakeholder management for projects of varying scope, budget, and schedule.
Project management certification (PMP preferred).
Strong communication skills (verbal, written, and presentation), with the ability to work with executives and broad teams.
Excellent analytic and strategic thinking skills.
Ability to coordinate, collaborate, and direct SMEs, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.
Ability to prioritize, be detail-oriented, and proactive.
Risk management skills.
Advanced problem-solving skills and ability to thrive in complex and ambiguous environments.
Ability to retain and grow technical knowledge to facilitate requirements gathering.

Nice to Have

PMP certification.

Qualifications
