About the Role

Infosys is seeking a C++ Architect. This position will interface with key stakeholders and involve technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition and Design; play an important role in creating high-level design artifacts; deliver high-quality code deliverables for a module, lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition, and warranty. Key Responsibilities

Interface with key stakeholders to understand and gather requirements.
Define application architecture and create high-level design artifacts.
Deliver high-quality code for assigned modules.
Lead validation activities for various testing phases.
Support activities related to implementation, transition, and warranty.
Participate in a learning culture that encourages teamwork and collaboration.

Requirements

Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Richardson, TX or Tampa, FL, or willing to relocate.
Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution, or three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
At least 7 years of Information Technology experience.
Strong programming skills in C++ and database interactions using C++ or ProC.
Proficiency with Linux-based development.
Experience with Unix Shell and Python scripting.
Knowledge of Unix and Linux platforms.
Experience with DevOps tools such as Jira and Gitlab.
Experience with databases like ORACLE and SQL.
Secondary skills include socket programming (TCP/IP, UDP), Perl scripting, application servers like Weblogic and Apache, Jenkins, and databases like Postgres.

Nice to Have

Experience in multithreading and system tuning for performance.
Knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and memory management.
Experience with performance profiling, debugging, and optimizing latency-sensitive applications.
Experience in code reviews.
Experience in Tel/Networking domain.
Experience with messaging frameworks like Kafka.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent, or three years of progressive experience in the field.
