About the Role

Infosys is seeking a C++ Developer to interface with key stakeholders and contribute across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle, including requirements elicitation, application architecture, design, coding, testing, and support activities. The role involves creating high-level design artifacts, delivering high-quality code, leading validation, and supporting implementation, transition, and warranty phases. Key Responsibilities

Interface with key stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements.
Contribute to all stages of the Software Development Life Cycle, including requirements elicitation, architecture definition, and design.
Create high-level design artifacts for projects.
Deliver high-quality code for assigned modules.
Lead validation activities for various testing phases.
Support activities related to implementation, transition, and warranty.

Requirements

Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Richardson, TX or Tampa, FL, or willing to relocate.
Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution, or three years of progressive experience in lieu of education.
At least 4 years of Information Technology experience.
Strong programming skills in C++ and database interactions using C++ or ProC.
Proficiency with Linux-based development.
Experience with Unix Shell and Python scripting.
Knowledge of Unix and Linux platforms.
Experience with DevOps tools such as Jira and Gitlab.
Experience with databases like ORACLE and SQL.
Secondary skills include socket programming (TCP/IP, UDP), Perl scripting, Weblogic and Apache application servers, Jenkins, and Postgres.

Nice to Have

Experience with multithreading and system tuning for performance.
Knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and memory management.
Experience with performance profiling, debugging, and optimizing latency-sensitive applications.
Experience in the Tel/Networking domain.
Experience with messaging frameworks like Kafka.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or three years of relevant experience.
