About the Role

Having experienced tremendous growth over the past few years, this is an exciting time to join GCM Grosvenor. We are seeking an enthusiastic and collaborative Client Marketing Associate to serve as an essential member of the marketing organization, helping to drive growth and raise awareness within both institutional and private wealth channels. The Associate will support marketing and fundraising efforts across our investment strategies, specialized funds, and custom solutions business. This role will partner closely with our investment and business development teams to help shape product positioning, craft compelling narratives, and integrate key messaging across platforms. This position requires a commercial mindset, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to collaborate with senior professionals in a fast-paced, dynamic, and matrixed group environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop clear, compelling, and client-focused content that strengthens relationships across channels, partners, and regions.
  • Coordinate the marketing aspect of product launches and initiatives, including the creation of fundraising marketing materials, and support the plans for bringing them to market.
  • Create and disseminate technical pitch presentations supported by compelling data visualizations to effectively sell GCM Grosvenor's capabilities.
  • Design and maintain marketing deliverables including fund brochures, market outlooks, conference materials, and deal insights that support capital raise efforts and client engagement.
  • Manage internal project plans and timelines including stakeholder, operational, and legal and compliance approvals to ensure all deadlines are met.
  • Coordinate monthly and quarterly marketing material updates, ensuring product positioning remains appropriate and consistent across all related materials.
  • Retrieve, analyze, and ensure data is accurate and applicable.
  • Operate effectively in a deadline-driven, constantly changing environment.
  • Perform additional related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • BA/BS degree in Marketing, Communications, Finance, Business Administration or a related field preferred.
  • 5-7 years of professional experience with at least 2-3 years within the investment management space.
  • Alternative investment experience (hedge fund, private credit, private equity, infrastructure, and/or real estate) is required.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, with advanced PowerPoint and data visualization capabilities.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple high-priority projects simultaneously and work efficiently under tight deadlines.
  • Highly self-motivated with the ability to quickly learn complex business concepts.
  • Impeccable attention to detail and strong proofreading skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Outstanding decision-making and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to understand and analyze financial data.
  • Demonstrated initiative and ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment.
  • Demonstrated team player and independent thinker.
  • Self-motivated and energized by working amongst thoughtful, smart, and successful colleagues.
  • Enjoys being part of an organization focused on excellence, with a proactive approach, discretion, and judgment.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in investment marketing or investor relations.
  • Desire to develop a high degree of private markets investing acumen.
