About the Role

The Client Marketing Manager - Personalization Activation at Truist is responsible for leading the development and socialization of cross-channel marketing campaigns that match clients to integrated solutions based on their relationship lifecycle. The role involves leveraging client signals, advanced analytical insights, and opportunity events to drive profitable business growth, support enterprise MarTech platforms, and collaborate with various stakeholders across the organization to influence marketing strategy and execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Set the team's direction, communicate priorities, and develop talent.
  • Develop marketing strategies to achieve operational and financial results across all marketing channels including digital.
  • Lead highly complex and visible projects with notable risk and manage deliverables to expected results.
  • Identify and resolve technical, operational, risk management, business, and organizational challenges.
  • Make leadership decisions within established policies, procedures, and objectives.
  • Monitor client needs and the competitive marketplace to provide ongoing marketing support that ensures product and service competitiveness.
  • Develop and manage budget and resource allocation.
  • Manage a team of professional-level contributors and/or large-scale programs, or serve as an individual contributor with strategic influence on business initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent education and training.
  • Seven years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Deep specialized or broad knowledge within the marketing discipline, with understanding of business and organizational strategies.
  • Experience in consumer, commercial, corporate, or wealth banking product and/or segment marketing.
  • Ability to interpret business challenges and implement best practices to improve products, processes, or services.
  • Ability to lead complex projects and manage a team of professionals.
  • Demonstrated budget management experience.
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment in solving technical, operational, and organizational challenges.
  • Strong understanding of clients through interpretation, user research, and analytics.
  • Strong relationship-building skills and ability to influence others.
  • Knowledge of the industry’s competitive landscape, market, and regulatory factors.

Nice to Have

  • MBA or Master’s degree in a related field.
  • Fifteen years of experience or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • Experience working within or familiarity with Adobe Experience Platform and related Adobe products.
  • Sound understanding of marketing technology, data & analytics, and organizational strategies.

Qualifications

  • Ability to work all hours scheduled, including overtime as needed.
  • Ability to access and interpret client information and communicate effectively in person and via phone.
  • Manual dexterity to operate standard office equipment.
  • Ability to travel up to 25%.
