Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain ETL/ELT data ingestion pipelines from multiple source systems into the Enterprise Data Lake.
  • Implement and maintain data collection and governance processes using Google Tag Manager and web analytics tools, ensuring consent-mode compliant tracking.
  • Ensure data quality through cleansing, validation, and standardization procedures.
  • Write and optimize SQL queries for data extraction and transformation.
  • Perform complex data analysis using SQL in environments like Google BigQuery and Databricks.
  • Develop analytical data models and schemas to identify customer behavior patterns, trends, and opportunities.
  • Generate actionable insights to support digital marketing campaigns, eCommerce optimization, and pricing strategies.
  • Conduct A/B testing analysis and provide recommendations for optimization.
  • Implement data quality checks, anomaly detection, and reconciliation processes to ensure data accuracy.
  • Collaborate with product owners and architects on data integration strategies across platforms and the Data Lake.
  • Support integration efforts between marketing, sales, service, eCommerce, and pricing platforms.
  • Curate and maintain machine learning-ready datasets for advanced analytics and predictive modeling.
  • Create and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using tools like Looker Studio, Power BI, or Tableau.
  • Develop automated reporting solutions to track KPIs such as funnel conversion, campaign performance, customer segmentation, and profitability drivers.
  • Present data findings and recommendations to stakeholders at various levels.
  • Design visualization solutions to communicate complex data stories effectively.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for data processes, definitions, and methodologies.
  • Participate in data governance initiatives, including metadata management and compliance with data privacy regulations.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and contribute to the Customer 360 data strategy.
  • Identify opportunities for process automation and efficiency improvements.
  • Stay current with industry trends and recommend new tools and methodologies.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of hands-on experience in data analysis and analytics.
  • Proficiency in SQL with experience in complex query writing and optimization.
  • Experience with data visualization tools, preferably Looker Studio, Power BI, Tableau or similar platforms.
  • Working knowledge of data warehousing concepts and ETL/ELT processes.
  • Experience with cloud-based data lake platforms such as BigQuery, Databricks, or similar.
  • Strong understanding of web analytics metrics and digital marketing KPIs.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate business questions into analytical approaches.
  • Experience in statistical analysis and data modeling.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to identify data quality issues and implement corrective measures.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for presenting complex data to non-technical audiences.
  • Experience working in cross-functional team environments.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Customer-focused mindset with understanding of customer journey analytics.

Nice to Have

  • Hands-on experience with Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and Google Tag Manager.
  • Programming experience in Python or R for data analysis.
  • Experience with API integrations and data pipeline development.
  • Knowledge of machine learning concepts and predictive analytics.
  • Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
  • Experience with data orchestration tools such as Qlik or similar.
  • Understanding of digital marketing concepts like SEO, SEM, email marketing, and personalization.
  • Knowledge of customer segmentation and lifetime value analysis.
  • Familiarity with pricing analytics and revenue optimization.
  • Experience with privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA) and their impact on data collection.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and take initiative.
  • Agile mindset and adaptability to changing priorities.

  • Strong collaboration skills and ability to build cross-team relationships.

  • Relevant certifications such as Google Analytics, Google Cloud, Databricks, etc.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, Engineering, Data Analytics, or Marketing with a strong analytical focus.

  • Range for this position is $72,880.00 - $118,430.00, with starting pay dependent on experience and location.
