Commercialization Project Leader

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Take the lead in driving commercialization projects through the stage gate process, ensuring they are executed with precision and align with strategic objectives.
• Develop project schedules, identify and mitigate risks and issues throughout the project life cycle.
• Excel at leading large cross-functional teams through weekly commercialization meetings, fostering collaboration, and maintaining alignment among team members with diverse expertise.
• Effectively communicate with peers, providing regular updates and insights on project progress and risk.
• Apply intermediate to competent understanding of business and financial acumen in practical ways to guide project decision-making and resource allocation.
• Proactively interpret and adjust to situations that may have conflicting goals or priorities, finding solutions that benefit the overall project and business objectives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required, with a preference for Supply Chain, Technical, or Project Management concentration.
• 3+ years of related experience in project management, product commercialization, and/or CPG manufacturing/supply chain.
• Detailed knowledge of innovation tools and processes, Stage Gate, and early stage iterative development process.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities, with the capacity to analyze large amounts of information, identify priorities, and follow through on commitments.
• Intermediate to competent understanding of business and financial acumen.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Excellent Microsoft Office skills, with the ability to quickly learn and apply new concepts/tools; Microsoft Project experience preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to influence and negotiate within a cross-functional team environment.
• Effective communication skills across different functional areas and levels within the organization.
• Strong presentation skills, including written documentation and oral project status updates.

Nice to Have

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in relevant field.
• 3+ years of experience in project management, product commercialization, or related areas.

• Target base salary range between $96,400 and $138,600, depending on location, experience, skills, and education.
