The company has partnered with over 1,900 leading hotels and resorts, connecting over 5 million people with relaxation and luxury in their own neighborhoods. With recent Series B funding and backing from notable investors, ResortPass is creating a new category of hospitality and is seeking a strategic, culture-savvy, and community-obsessed Senior Manager, Community & Social Media to lead their social presence and community initiatives in NYC.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the social media strategy across platforms, with a focus on Instagram and TikTok.
  • Lead 2-week content planning and execution cycles that align with brand and/or campaign messaging.
  • Partner with broader marketing team to coordinate messaging and alignment across channels.
  • Source, edit, and publish captivating photo and video content that reflects the brand identity and messaging.
  • Monitor and adapt to emerging trends to maintain cultural relevancy.
  • Oversee platform growth and performance metrics that support larger brand KPIs.
  • Present weekly and monthly performance recaps with key insights, learnings, and optimization recommendations.
  • Respond to comments, DMs, and tagged posts in a timely and engaging manner, reflecting the ResortPass brand voice.
  • Monitor and engage with relevant conversations in the travel, wellness, and leisure space, responding to trending topics and viral moments.
  • Actively comment on partner, influencer, and industry-related content to expand brand reach and awareness.
  • Ensure customer inquiries are directed appropriately to the CX team.
  • Source UGC across social channels to be amplified across other owned channels.
  • Build relationships with engaged followers, influencers, and brand advocates to foster community.
  • Monitor sentiment and community insights to inform content and positioning.
  • Own and evolve the community and social playbook in partnership with the Director of Integrated & Brand Marketing.
  • Identify opportunities to scale brand storytelling across new channels or formats.
  • Guide junior team members and/or contractors supporting engagement or content development.
  • Stay ahead of shifts in social algorithms, user behavior, and competitive landscape.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience leading social media strategy and execution for consumer-facing brands.
  • Deep understanding of audience behavior, with the ability to create content that resonates, inspires engagement, and drives conversions.
  • Track record of building and nurturing highly engaged communities, growing follower count and increasing meaningful interactions.
  • Experience with tools such as Aspire, DashSocial (formerly DashHudson), and Canva.
  • Located in or near the NYC area, as the role is in person at the NYC headquarters.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with emerging social platforms and formats.
  • Previous experience working in hospitality, travel, wellness, or leisure industries.

Qualifications

  • Formal educational background is not specified; emphasis on experience and skills.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms and community engagement.
