About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Plans, organizes and executes Outreach events, soliciting staff support to make events their most effective in our growth and business development initiatives.
• Must be available to attend community events including nights and weekends.
• Edit internal and external marketing and communications materials and ensuring consistency of message and brand identity.
• Generate content for internal and external publications, press releases, collateral, social media, websites, and advertising as needed.
• Support the HSC Communications and Marketing Departments on additional projects and tasks as needed.

Requirements

• Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
• Excellent writing and editing skills needed.
• Public relations skills, graphic design, photography, basic video filming and editing skills, website CMS knowledge, basic HTML knowledge, and experience with managing social media content for brands or businesses.

Nice to Have

• Related Marketing Experience - Preferred

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Public Relations or related field - Preferred
