Community Relations Specialist

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Manage relationships with and recommend appropriate monetary and in-kind donations to nonprofits in communities surrounding Domino's HQ and corporate stores, aligned with corporate strategy and values; coordinate payment from the company's annual budget and track resulting impact.
• Facilitate Supply Chain Community Outreach program by consulting with center leadership, coordinating donations, and managing nonprofit engagement.
• Coordinate in-kind donations such as pizza and gift cards according to giving guidelines.
• Connect with Business Consultants on the 'pizza relief' program.
• Assist in development and execution of the annual fundraising campaign by partnering with cross-functional teams.
• Collaborate with internal and external communications teams to develop campaign communication plans.
• Create weekly fundraising reports and distribute them to campaign stakeholders.
• Manage fundraising reward programs.
• Manage Community Relations and St. Jude PieNet pages with frequent updates and storytelling.
• Collaborate with Internal Communications, PR, and Social Media to incorporate community relations into content calendars.
• Create compelling stories, reports, and content to demonstrate Domino's contributions to social good, employee volunteerism, and partnerships with local organizations.
• Support quarterly impact reports to be shared with key stakeholders such as Talent Acquisition, Talent Development, BRGs, and Investor Relations.
• Support national charity partners in initiatives, including events and engagement opportunities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Business or related field experience preferred.
• 3+ years of experience.
• Passion for philanthropy.
• Compelling storyteller with the ability to communicate well to a variety of audiences in multi-media environments.
• Strong proofreading ability and attention to details.
• Ability to think strategically and advise those in higher-level roles.
• Comfortable with tracking a budget.
• Strong networking skills with the ability to professionally represent Domino's Pizza.
