About the Role

The Consultant Experience Specialist at Dexian is responsible for ensuring a positive and engaging experience for consultants throughout their employment lifecycle. This role acts as a key point of contact, building relationships, providing support, and promoting the Dexian culture by facilitating communication, recognition, and networking opportunities for consultants. The position supports the company's values of prioritizing people and fostering strong relationships with clients, consultants, and candidates, contributing to Dexian's reputation as a leading IT staffing firm and a great place to work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and distribute new hire welcome gifts each week to all upcoming starts and meet and greet new hires virtually or in person, setting expectations around the partnership.
  • Facilitate incoming questions or concerns from consultants, directing them to appropriate resources or providing answers about assignment logistics, onboarding, or social events.
  • Maintain regular in-person and virtual contact with consultants to build relationships and ensure engagement.
  • Send out communications for Dexian-sponsored events and promote awareness of company updates.
  • Provide opportunities for consultants to interact through virtual and in-person lunches, user group events, dinners, happy hours, tailgating functions, and other out-of-office events.
  • Plan and attend events to ensure alignment with Dexian branding and visibility.
  • Develop relationships with industry and community organizations to increase visibility for Dexian and its consultants.
  • Get to know consultants professionally and personally to foster better relationships and understanding.
  • Remain visible and available to consultants to ensure they are aware of available resources.
  • Build business intelligence from consultants that may lead to hot leads, referrals, or new job opportunities.
  • Serve as a champion for the Redeployment Program, including gifting efforts and recognition initiatives.
  • Track and recognize consultants' professional and personal accomplishments, including sending condolences, congratulatory gifts, and birthday acknowledgements.
  • Plan and execute events to foster a sense of community and recognition among consultants, such as tailgates, group lunches, quarterly outings, and holiday functions.
  • Attempt to gain hot leads and referrals during interactions with a minimum of 2 per week.
  • Assist in redeployment responsibilities, reward program management, and preparing consultant gifts as needed.
  • Partner with the marketing team to plan recognition events, create invitations, and order marketing materials.
  • Assist in survey communication, data collection, and gathering information for the Consultant Panel.
  • Interact with leadership at all levels and may require working after hours for special events or situations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Business, Communication, or equivalent education and experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in customer service, hospitality, recruiting support, or program support/coordination.
  • Ability to speak confidently in front of large groups.
  • Strong culture of execution, operational excellence, and accountability.
  • Excellent written, verbal, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Excellent planning and organization skills, with the ability to manage projects from inception to completion.
  • Expert problem solver capable of finding solutions using available resources and thinking outside the box.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills.
  • Team player with the ability to accept advice and collaborate effectively.
  • Ability to adapt professionally to unexpected changes in schedule and tasks.
  • Professional appearance, demeanor, and approach to work.
  • Ability to multi-task and work at a fast pace while prioritizing tasks.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Desire to learn and exercise good judgment and discretion in work.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in a similar role supporting consultants or clients.
  • Experience with event planning and community engagement.
  • Knowledge of the staffing or IT industry.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Business, Communication, or equivalent education and experience.
  • 5+ years' experience in customer service, hospitality, recruiting support, or program support/coordination.
