About the Role

The Content SEO Strategist at Beacon Hill Staffing Group, LLC is a strategic role focused on auditing, optimizing, and repositioning existing content to improve search performance, organic visibility, and user experience. The role involves working remotely during EST hours on a part-time basis, primarily supporting content marketing and SEO initiatives for a client with a focus on traditional and emerging LLM-powered search experiences.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive audit of 750+ blog URLs, analyzing performance metrics, search rankings, and content quality
Optimize and rewrite approximately 375 high-value blog posts using Jasper AI and other content optimization tools
Develop and execute topic cluster strategies in collaboration with the SEO team
Optimize content for both traditional search engines and emerging LLM-powered search experiences
Implement technical SEO improvements and blog UX updates within WordPress
Leverage new martech tools to optimize content for LLM query responses
Stay current with AI-powered search trends and adjust content strategy accordingly
Implement best practices for brand visibility in AI-generated search results

Requirements

5+ years of experience in content marketing and SEO strategy
Deep understanding of SEO/GEO best practices and current algorithm updates
Proficiency with WordPress, including content management and UX implementation
Experience with AI content tools and martech platforms
Knowledge of content audit methodologies and performance analysis
Understanding of strategies to increase brand visibility in LLMs and AI-powered search
Experience developing topic clusters and content pillars for SEO
Exceptional writing and editing skills with attention to detail
Strong project management abilities for large-scale content initiatives
Experience collaborating with SEO, marketing, and product teams
Ability to work independently while maintaining clear communication with stakeholders

Nice to Have

Experience with emerging AI and LLM search technologies
Familiarity with content performance analytics tools
Knowledge of technical SEO beyond WordPress
