About the Role

The Coordinator, Media Planning at Disney Entertainment Television is responsible for executing paid media strategies and tactical campaigns that drive awareness, viewership, engagement, and brand affinity across multiple platforms including Disney Channel, Disney Junior, Disney Original Documentary, National Geographic, and streaming services like Disney+, Hulu, and YouTube. This role involves day-to-day campaign execution and administrative support within a fast-paced environment, supporting the media planning team within Disney's content marketing divisions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Day to day lead on the execution of paid media campaigns, including TV, OTT, CTV, SVOD/AVOD, radio, digital audio, OOH, digital display, digital video, programmatic, print, search, and social media, with guidance from senior management.
  • Create media spot grids, submit work orders, communicate specifications to creative teams and external agencies, and review agency deliverables for accuracy.
  • Manage campaign due dates, input tune-in and CTA information, and ensure adherence to legal and brand safety guidelines.
  • Coordinate with media agencies and creative teams to ensure timely delivery of campaign materials.
  • Support all phases of media planning from inception through execution, facilitating communication among divisions and partner agencies.
  • Develop and maintain media agency relationships, review research and audience insights, contribute to media briefs, and analyze post-campaign reports.
  • Assist in executing custom content aligned with brand standards and safety guidelines.
  • Create presentations, summaries, and reports to communicate media plans and insights to broader teams and external partners.
  • Coordinate post-mortem findings to inform future campaigns, schedule and prepare for team meetings, and contribute to process documentation.
  • Manage team communication channels, campaign trackers, and stay updated on media trends.
  • Support budget and billing processes to ensure timely invoice payments.
  • Perform ad hoc projects and support special initiatives as needed.

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of media planning or marketing experience at an agency or in-house.
  • Excellent project management skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Google Slides, Sheets, and related tools.

Nice to Have

  • 1-3 years of experience within media or marketing organizations (agency or client side).
  • Familiarity or interest in Kids programming.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or equivalent work experience.
