About the Role

The CORP MARKETING/AUTOMATION DEVELOPER at Kroger Corporate is responsible for implementing integrated customer journeys using marketing automation platforms and tools. The role involves ensuring requirements, business rules, workflows, and integration points are documented, planned, and executed. Key Responsibilities

  • Implement integrated customer journeys using marketing automation platforms and tools.
  • Ensure requirements, business rules, workflows, and integration points are documented, planned, and executed.
  • Participate in scoping, requirement and specification meetings, and design/solution reviews.
  • Assess and analyze business requirements and recommend optimal solutions within system constraints.
  • Manage and execute the design and implementation of solutions within customer data and journey orchestration platforms.
  • Produce functional specification documentation based on partner business requirements.
  • Coordinate efforts with various departments to meet deadlines.
  • Perform system testing and end-to-end code audits.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3+ years of relevant technical experience using marketing automation.
  • Technical knowledge of RESTful APIs, SOAP web services, and message queues.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to make customer-first, data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems/Technology, or related field.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in marketing technology or analytics.
  • Experience working as part of an Agile team.
  • Experience with analytical software such as Google Analytics.
  • Digital marketing experience, including email, mobile messaging, and paid digital campaigns.
  • Experience with database marketing or campaign management tools with emphasis on database design skills.
  • Knowledge of analytical tools.

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems/Technology, or related field.
