Key Responsibilities

  • Developing and implementing Ambulatory Surgery Center product and solution selling with strategic tactics to maximize Zimmer Biomet full-line sales growth for assigned geography.
  • Establishing and growing relevant relationships with key decision makers from Ambulatory Surgery Centers within assigned geography.
  • Accountable for contract strategy, customer negotiations, and pricing strategy for Ambulatory Surgery Centers across the entire Zimmer Biomet platform of products and solutions.
  • Working closely with the local sales team to execute daily on ASC opportunities, education, in-person meetings, and long-term execution.
  • Setting high standards of sales excellence by leveraging senior level relationships in assigned accounts and implementing winning strategies to grow Zimmer Biomet's overall orthopedic share within Ambulatory Surgery Center settings.
  • Identifying emerging markets and sales opportunities and taking action to exploit the markets and actualize sales potential in the managed care arena.
  • Coordinating the development and application of measures for monitoring performance against contracted sales and profit objectives in assigned accounts.
  • Controlling contract actions to accommodate contingencies revealed by controls.
  • Conducting informal market research activities to analyze and identify Ambulatory Surgery Center market needs and issues.
  • Developing and maintaining expertise in healthcare economics and orthopedic clinical product line from a Healthcare Provider point of view.
  • Assisting in establishing education requirements for various customer groups and providing support and education materials.
  • Interacting and engaging with Hospital CXOs and other executives to understand clinical product lines, reimbursement trends, and drivers to optimize ASC performance.
  • Applying and conveying Zimmer Biomet solutions that positively impact clinical outcomes and financial performance.

Requirements

  • B.S. degree in business, marketing, or equivalent.
  • 7-10 years' experience in sales, marketing, sales management, and national accounts with demonstrated performance enhancement.
  • Experience in sales/marketing of healthcare is required.
  • Demonstrated excellence in oral and written communication skills and making business presentations to C-Suite level customers.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of medical device business and market.
  • Knowledge of healthcare economics and clinical product line workflow affecting Ambulatory Surgery Centers.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to develop detailed, action-oriented, multi-level sales strategies aimed at growing share over an extended period.
  • Travel up to 40%.

Nice to Have

  • MBA degree.

Qualifications

  • B.S. degree in business, marketing, or equivalent.

Benefits & Perks

  • Expected compensation range: $144,810 - $217,214.
