About the Role

As a Creative Marketing, Social Media Intern, you'll contribute to the voice of Lowe's across major platforms—helping shape how our brand shows up in real time. You'll work on content planning, trend tracking, copy development, and creative brainstorming that brings our products, purpose, and culture to life. This internship is based at our headquarters in Mooresville, North Carolina, and is part of Lowe's 10-week Summer Internship Program, offering practical experience in retail operations and digital storytelling.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in drafting social media posts, captions, and copy aligned with brand voice and creative strategy.
Research social media trends, cultural moments, and competitor activity to inform content development.
Support content calendar planning and coordination with internal creative teams.
Participate in social content brainstorming and ideation sessions across various formats: video, stories, graphics, and UGC.
Monitor platform engagement, assist in reporting performance metrics, and surface learnings for optimization.
Collaborate with channel managers and brand partners to support campaigns and promotions.

Requirements

Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, Journalism, or a related field.
Expected graduation dates of December 2026 or May 2027.
Strong writing and editing skills with an eye for tone and brevity.
Familiarity with platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Pinterest, LinkedIn, and emerging channels.
Basic understanding of performance metrics (likes, shares, engagement rate, etc.).

Nice to Have

Passion for social media and digital storytelling.
Experience in a leadership position at work or within a campus organization.

Qualifications

Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in a related field with expected graduation in December 2026 or May 2027.
