About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Work well within a team environment and independently with minimal supervision.
• Craft engaging messages focused on the viewer's or client's benefit through writing.
• Manage multiple priorities to meet tight deadlines and adapt to changing deadlines while maintaining a calm and confident presence.
• Write, produce, and edit commercial productions for clients.
• Assist in station-sponsored events when needed.
• Recognize how to craft an engaging message focused on the viewer's/client's benefit.
• Assist in station-sponsored events when needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in commercial production or broadcast media is preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
• Advanced skills in Premiere, After Effects, and Photoshop.
• Experience with DSLR cameras and lenses.
• Experienced in lighting and directing talent on set and at outside shoots.
• Ability to write, shoot, and edit engaging content.
• Knowledge of the post-production process, including media management and encoding video to various formats.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds for varying distances.
• Must have or be able to attain a valid driver's license with a clean or minor-incident driving record.
• Proof of insurance is required.
• Basic knowledge of video formats for broadcast and social media.

Nice to Have

• FAA Drone Certification.

Qualifications
