About the Role

The Creative Strategist, Marketing role at Church & Dwight is a senior creative leadership position that involves developing brand identity, storytelling, and creative concepts to differentiate products and enhance brand presence. The role requires end-to-end creative ownership and collaboration with various teams to bring emotive and innovative brand stories to life across multiple touchpoints. Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the General Manager of The Accelerator Group (TAG) to serve as strategic creative partner in developing brand identity, experience, and guidelines.
  • Lead the development of innovative and compelling creative concepts that drive storytelling for product differentiation and brand identity.
  • Manage end-to-end creative ownership from ideation to final content creation, ensuring consistency and excellence across all touchpoints.
  • Partner with social, eCommerce, digital strategy, and broader creative teams to craft emotive brand stories that resonate with consumers.
  • Ensure new brand positioning is executed throughout all consumer touchpoints, including shelf, packaging, and other formats.
  • Drive opportunities through storytelling, consumer insights, and innovative ideas.
  • Concept, pitch, design, and execute innovative ad campaigns and experiences for TAG brands, from creative brief to launch.
  • Direct creative disciplines outside your expertise and provide feedback during all stages of development.
  • Incorporate emerging marketing trends and GenAI innovations into creative strategies and execution.
  • Create bespoke creative strategies with a strong point of view and vision, providing clear direction to internal and external partners.
  • Lead and manage creative teams, guiding designers to deliver high-quality work and supporting professional development.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders and external agencies, articulating creative vision and strategy.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in senior creative leadership roles for storytelling and performance, preferably in consumer product goods companies.
  • Experience working at startups, creative agencies, in-house creative teams, or non-traditional content creators is desirable.
  • Strong understanding of how brands come to life and how creative storytelling contributes to brand success.
  • Conceptual thinking and problem-solving skills to visualize ideas and influence stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to think creatively and strategically with a passion for innovation.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to articulate creative vision and strategy.
  • Ability to work hands-on in writing and producing promos, sizzles, social & digital content as needed.
  • Experience in art direction and copywriting across digital, print, out-of-home, video, and other formats.
  • Leadership experience in managing and guiding creative teams to deliver exceptional work.
  • Strong judgment, decision-making skills, and ability to pivot when necessary.
  • Familiarity with AI, motion, and emerging technologies as part of creative process.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.

Nice to Have

  • UX experience is a plus.
