About the Role

We are looking for a Customer Success Manager with an engineering background to join our team at Technical Toolboxes, the global leader in pipeline engineering software. This role is ideal for someone passionate about the energy sector and eager to support complex technical solutions. The successful candidate will serve as a technical advisor to our customers, helping them leverage our Pipeline HUB platform to solve critical engineering challenges, ensure regulatory compliance, and optimize pipeline operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with customers to maximize value from our Pipeline HUB platform by identifying underutilized features and expanding product adoption across their engineering teams
  • Educate users on the full breadth of our engineering calculations, demonstrating best practices and optimal use cases for their specific workflows
  • Conduct discovery sessions to understand customer engineering challenges and map solutions using our Crossings, Corrosion, Integrity, and Welding suites
  • Drive product usage by showcasing time-saving features, automation capabilities, and integration opportunities that align with customer business objectives
  • Provide technical guidance on advanced use cases, helping engineers leverage our tools for complex scenarios like HDD feasibility studies, corrosion modeling, and regulatory compliance
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and resolve software challenges, serving as the technical liaison between customers and our product team
  • Analyze product usage data to identify what features are driving value and what's being underutilized across our customer base
  • Build automated solutions and scripts to streamline repetitive customer workflows and reduce friction in product adoption
  • Code proof-of-concepts and automation tools that demonstrate advanced use cases and drive deeper product adoption
  • Transform customer feedback into actionable technical solutions, bridging the gap between user needs and product capabilities
  • Identify and eliminate bottlenecks in customer workflows through creative problem-solving and technical innovation

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Petroleum, Chemical, Pipeline, or Civil Engineering
  • 2-4 years of experience in pipeline engineering, design or related engineering fields
  • Strong understanding of pipeline engineering fundamentals
  • Familiarity with pipeline industry standards
  • Understanding of Python and BI is a plus
  • Excellent technical communication skills with ability to explain complex engineering concepts
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail in calculation validation
  • Self-motivated with ability to manage multiple customer engagements simultaneously

Nice to Have

  • Familiarity with pipeline industry standards
  • Understanding of Python and Business Intelligence (BI)

Qualifications
