Job Description

About the Role

This is a Community Service Work Study student employment position at Portland Tennis & Education, a nonprofit organization. The role involves assisting with content creation and platform management to promote PT&E's programs and offerings, including tennis and pickleball activities. The intern will work approximately 10 hours a week during the fall and spring semesters, reporting to PT&E's Advancement Manager, with responsibilities including capturing content, creating social media posts, contributing to newsletters, and updating the website.

Key Responsibilities

Assist with content collection by capturing pictures and videos at PT&E events and activities.
Create social media posts and campaigns to promote PT&E's programs and offerings.
Contribute to newsletter creation and website updates.
Manage and work on platforms including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Canva, Squarespace, Robly, and Google Suite.
Attend PT&E events as needed to collect content.
Perform other related tasks as required.

Requirements

Must have Federal Work Study Funds in Financial Aid package.
Mastery of social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn.

Nice to Have

Marketing or Communications academic or professional experience.
Mastery of Canva.
Photography and Videography experience.

Hourly wage of $16.90/hour.
