About the Role

The Customer Account Manager - Commercial Spares serves as the key contact for customer inquiries and complaint resolution related to New Material (Spares) purchases from GE Aerospace and CFMi. The role involves managing customer accounts, facilitating order processing, supporting forecasting, billing, and collections, and engaging in sales activities as needed. The position requires technical knowledge, analytical thinking, and the ability to communicate effectively with internal teams and customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the Customer Experience Manager for Internal and External Accounts.
  • Facilitate order management by processing order intake and inputting data into internal systems.
  • Connect to customer portals and systems to support order and inquiry management.
  • Support forecasting, billing, and collection activities as needed.
  • Act as the primary contact for customer inquiries and resolve customer complaints or issues.
  • Work with operations to understand and communicate commitments and status updates to customers.
  • Utilize technical knowledge and analytical thinking to execute policies and strategies.
  • Apply best practices and understand how own area integrates with others; stay aware of market competition and differentiators.
  • Propose solutions outside set parameters to address complex manufacturing processes and interdependent production cycles.
  • Use internal and external sources to make informed decisions.
  • Serve as a resource for less experienced colleagues and lead small projects with low risks and resource requirements.
  • Explain information clearly, develop team skills, and handle sensitive issues.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college, or a high school diploma / GED with at least 6 years of experience in services, customer order, and fulfillment.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in analytics, supply chain management, and/or the commercial aviation industry.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.
  • Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.
  • Established project management skills.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in the commercial aviation industry.
  • Additional technical or analytical skills relevant to supply chain or customer service roles.
