About the Role

At Blue Origin, we envision millions of people living and working in space for the benefit of Earth. We're working to develop reusable, safe, and low-cost space vehicles and systems within a culture of safety, collaboration, and inclusion. This role supports the development and operations of New Glenn, a heavy-lift orbital launch vehicle designed to carry people and payloads to various orbits, with a fully reusable first stage. You will work on launch vehicles, space vehicles, and launch facility systems, leading the integrated data systems solution required for certification and supporting national security and NASA programs. The position involves developing positive relationships with US government partners, planning sophisticated products, and ensuring data quality, sharing, and maintenance to achieve certification for launch services.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the development and maintenance of integrated data systems solutions to support certification of the New Glenn program.
Ensure data quality, sharing, and maintenance to meet certification requirements for launch services.
Engage with US government partners such as the US Space Force and NASA to develop and deliver certification-related products.
Plan and develop sophisticated data products across multiple technical subject areas.
Communicate results effectively to support government certification requests.
Build and maintain positive relationships across the program and with external partners.

Requirements

B.S. degree in engineering or an equivalent technical field.
Proven experience with integrated data environments or data systems.
Familiarity with AWS and UI / Application Development.
Experience with collaboration tools such as Confluence and JIRA.
Experience with systems engineering tools (e.g., DOORS), configuration management tools (e.g., Windchill), and secure data-sharing platforms.
Experience with multi-dimensional data records for manufacturing, quality, configuration management, calibration records, work procedures, master equipment lists, etc.
Demonstrated ability to enforce data-marking best practices.
Experience with data platform-specific customer training and engagement metrics.
Solid understanding of project management and resource planning practices.
Experience with customer certification or mission assurance practices.
Excellent communication and coordination skills.
Ability to make high-quality, high-velocity decisions.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Background in product ownership.

Qualifications
