Key Responsibilities

  • Detailed understanding of the Customers go-to-market model including Category Management strategy.
  • Deliver target Budget plan and new product distribution goals.
  • Execute our brand and category growth strategy that align with the customer.
  • Identify new opportunities for growth; develop and implement strategic written sales plans in accordance with corporate goals.
  • Maintain clear understanding of customer objectives and with key personnel to manage execution and measure results.
  • Relationship management with account cross functional areas, Corporate and divisions. Ongoing meetings and access to Director and VP of merchandising.
  • Foster and grow existing and new relationships within account, gaining a deep understanding of current and potential future needs of our customers.
  • Educate our business partners on our products, retail goals, and measurement of success.
  • Deliver customer presentations that demonstrate innovation, shelf positioning, promotions, communicate pricing, etc.
  • Manage daily business in partnership with customers, including: UPC product/item setup, maintenance, logistics and inventory management.
  • Sell-in new products and all promotions to qualified retailers; ensure full-line distribution of products (new & existing items).
  • Work with customers to implement Retail initiatives and monitor Retail standards.
  • Ongoing contract management that focuses on strategic alignment and designed to strengthen both the customer and Nestlé Health Science's market position.
  • Input data into Osprey Trade Management system, manage trade funds, and perform sales forecasting activities.
  • Conduct monthly reporting, sales analytics, and insights to maximize sales efficiency.
  • Perform other duties as required.
  • Manage P&L within respective account coverage.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in business or related field preferred.
  • At least 5 years of experience with at least 2 years managing large customers.
  • Experience in sales within Grocery, Drug, and/or Mass retail channels.
  • Strong relationships at Buyer, Director Merchandising Manager level, with preferred VP connection.
  • Experience in consumer goods and Vitamins and Nutritional supplements is highly preferred.
  • Prior experience using syndicated data to determine customer needs and establish effective pricing and promotional activities.
  • Comfortable traveling approximately 25% of the time to client sites and NHS offices.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong organizational, written, and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and multi-task.
  • Deep understanding of the assigned Customer and demand creation planning.
  • Strong financial acumen and P&L management skills.
  • Knowledge of NHS Osprey Trade Planning Tool.

Nice to Have

  • Knowledge regarding Project Management and experience managing projects in a fast-moving environment.
  • Relationship management experience and mindset to build initiatives that deliver on goals.
  • Strong cross-functional relationship skills with assigned accounts.
  • Experience with ADUSA: Hannaford, Stop & Shop, The Giant Company.
  • Experience with Regional Foods Grocery, particularly SEG.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in business or related field (preferred).
  • At least 5 years of experience managing large customers (ideal).
