About the Role

The CVP, Digital Marketing Platform Product Manager at York Life Insurance Company is responsible for leading the business-side ecosystem strategy and end-to-end delivery of York Life's Marketing Intelligence Platform. This platform integrates data, technology, and marketing expertise to enable personalized consumer and agent experiences, supporting York Life's marketing ecosystem through segmentation, recommendation engines, identity resolution, privacy-aware orchestration, and more. The role is high-impact, requiring a strategic thinker who collaborates across cross-functional teams to shape enterprise-scale outcomes and drive innovative marketing solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the marketing platform capabilities strategy and roadmap by understanding business strategy and identifying new platform features to enhance the intelligence platform.
  • Work with business and product teams to understand goals, proactively manage feature backlog, and prioritize initiatives that drive data-driven experiences.
  • Lead end-to-end delivery processes, creating detailed plans, identifying risks, and facilitating alignment with stakeholders while balancing technical feasibility.
  • Partner with the User Acceptance Testing team to ensure platform capabilities meet standards, lead test case creation, prioritize defects, and support reporting and resolution.
  • Collaborate on platform activation and operationalization, including migration, adoption plans, training, communication, and documentation to ensure smooth implementation.
  • Assess the ecosystem's capabilities and external vendor landscape to recommend strategic improvements based on business strategy and digital roadmap.
  • Facilitate platform/tool selection and vendor management by evaluating capabilities, costs, scalability, and influencing vendor roadmaps.
  • Lead and mentor a team of product owners, fostering collaboration, providing coaching, and supporting professional growth.

Requirements

  • Foundational understanding of Artificial Intelligence (AI).
  • Experience enabling modern MarTech and AdTech platforms such as Adobe, Salesforce, or equivalent platforms.
  • Proven ability to document platform and data strategies to deliver innovative marketing solutions.
  • Experience delivering data-driven marketing capabilities using modern marketing platforms.
  • Knowledge of marketing platforms that support content and data-driven next-best action recommendations.
  • Ability to partner with stakeholders to document and socialize marketing ecosystem strategies, especially in data-driven capabilities.
  • Background in migrating from traditional marketing automation to modern segmentation and omni-channel platforms.
  • Understanding of consumer privacy regulations impacting marketing activations.
  • Strong strategic problem-solving skills, cross-functional facilitation, and team management experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with technical, business, design, and data acumen.
  • Self-starter comfortable navigating ambiguity and managing multiple initiatives.

Nice to Have

  • Knowledge of key consumer privacy regulations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 10+ years of relevant experience, including 5+ years in digital marketing and agile product delivery.
