About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and automate tasks through coding and scripting using languages such as Python, Ansible, and Terraform.
• Manage and configure Linux-based systems including RHEL, CentOS, and Amazon Linux.
• Work with applications like Kubernetes, Docker Compose, Telegraf, Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana, and Grafana.
• Utilize version control systems, primarily Git, to track code and configuration changes.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Gitlab runners, ArgoCD, Jenkins, Maven, and AWS tools.
• Integrate security practices into DevOps processes (DevSecOps).
• Support cloud computing platforms such as AWS and OpenStack.
• Collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders, and participate in on-call rotations every 6-8 weeks.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline or equivalent experience/education.
• 14+ years of professional experience or 12+ years with a related Master's degree.
• Active Top Secret clearance with polygraph.
• Proficiency in at least one application and working knowledge of another.
• Experience with Linux systems and Linux-based tools.
• Familiarity with version control, CI/CD practices, and cloud computing platforms.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work remotely part-time with a flexible schedule (schedule: 9x80 every other Friday off).

Nice to Have

• Experience with Java and Spring Boot.
• Microservice architectures (3 years).
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as AWS tools, Maven, Jenkins, Gitlab & GitOps, Kubernetes, Docker, Nexus, Ansible.
• Database experience with NoSQL / MongoDB Query and Schema Design.
• OAuth/OIDC implementation experience.

Qualifications
