IT Infrastructure Engineer III/Senior - Elasticsearch Engineer

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the installation, configuration, and support of Elastic Stack components including Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana, and Beats across both on-premises and cloud environments.
• Collaborate with IT and cybersecurity teams to build scalable monitoring and SIEM solutions supporting business-critical applications.
• Design and enhance dashboards, alerting pipelines, and ingestion workflows using tools like Logstash, Kafka, Cribl, and Elastic Agents.
• Support automation and containerized deployments using Docker, Podman, Ansible, and GitLab.
• Participate in the on-call rotation to ensure system availability and performance.
• Maintain and support infrastructure technologies, including hardware, software, and network appliances.
• Develop technical documentation and evaluate emerging technologies.
• Assist in business requirements meetings and translate architectural designs into operational procedures.
• Administer equipment, hardware, and software upgrades, and support systems infrastructure.

Requirements

• Bachelors' degree in Information Technology or related field.
• Five (5) years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience for the IT Infrastructure Engineer III level.
• Seven (7) years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience for the Senior level.
• Strong technical knowledge of infrastructure technologies including compute, storage, networking, and cloud solutions (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS).
• Experience with Elastic Stack, Elastic Cloud Enterprise, and managing clusters in production environments.
• Knowledge of automation, containerization, and system integration tools such as Docker, Podman, Ansible, and GitLab.
• Strong understanding of log management, data pipelines, and dashboard development.
• Ability to troubleshoot, install, and repair hardware and software, and develop technical documentation.
• Experience with solution sizing, security requirements, and industry standards.
