About the Role

Lockheed Martin, Cyber & Intelligence invites you to step up to one of today's most daunting challenges: the use of advanced electronics to undermine our way of life. As a cyber security professional at Lockheed Martin, you'll protect the networks that our citizens and the world depend upon, including financial assets, healthcare information, critical infrastructure, and energy systems. You'll work with cybersecurity experts on threat protection and proactive prevention in a fast-paced, real-world environment, leveraging your education and experience to keep threats at bay. The program seeks innovative engineers to support a critical analytic application and modernize legacy systems using microservices-based architecture and cutting-edge technologies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coding and scripting to automate tasks and build tools, using languages such as Python, Ansible, and Terraform.
  • Managing and configuring Linux environments including RHEL, CentOS, and Amazon Linux.
  • Installing, configuring, and managing Linux-based tools such as Kubernetes, Docker Compose, Telegraf, Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana, and Grafana.
  • Fluency in at least one application and working knowledge of another application.
  • Using version control systems like Git to track changes to code and configuration files.
  • Implementing and managing CI/CD pipelines with tools such as Gitlab runners and ArgoCD.
  • Integrating security practices into the DevOps process (DevSecOps).
  • Working with cloud computing platforms like AWS and OpenStack.
  • Collaborating effectively with team members and stakeholders.
  • Participating in on-call rotations, with 1 week every 6-8 weeks, including 4 hours of inconvenience pay.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/education.
  • 9 years of professional experience or 7 years with a related Master's degree.
  • An active Top Secret clearance with polygraph.
  • Experience with microservice architectures (3 years).
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as AWS tools, Maven, Jenkins, Gitlab & GitOps, Kubernetes, Docker, Nexus, Ansible.
  • Knowledge of databases like NoSQL / MongoDB, including query and schema design.
  • OAuth/OIDC implementation experience.

Nice to Have

  • Java, Spring Boot experience.

Qualifications

  • Experience with microservice architectures (3 years).
  • Active Top Secret clearance with polygraph.
