The Data Analyst 3 role on the Insights Delivery - Digital team is responsible for collecting, analyzing and presenting data to improve decision making around the customer digital experience. This individual should have a high degree of curiosity about the business and the skills to discover impactful insights from data. They should be able to communicate those insights in a way that builds confidence and enables decisions that drive business value.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with key stakeholders to define success and develop measurement frameworks.
  • Dive deep into complex business problems and provide insights on business vertical performance through hypothesis testing.
  • Deliver a suite of analytical products including analyses, dashboards, insights, and recommendations.
  • Present results to stakeholders up to executive level and guide them in utilizing analytics effectively.
  • Own the definition and implementation of new metrics.
  • Identify opportunities to use data to develop new strategies and improve overall performance.
  • Deliver high-quality solutions and recommendations to various problems independently and collaboratively.
  • Bring data to life through storytelling in a clear and meaningful way for audiences with mixed technical expertise.
  • Reconcile divergent demands from multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
  • Mentor junior team members on analytics, storytelling, and communication best practices.
  • Use advanced analytical and statistical practices to create thorough and actionable insights.
  • Collect data to analyze, execute, and measure customer analysis, marketing campaigns, merchandise, and digital experience analysis.
  • Collaborate to apply learning across channels, campaigns, products, and business units.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or relevant work experience.
  • 5+ years of professional experience analyzing data, drawing conclusions, and making recommendations.
  • 5+ years of experience in extracting and manipulating large data sets from relational databases using SQL (BigQuery preferred).
  • Strong coding skills in at least one statistical or programming language (R or Python preferred).
  • Experience with statistical and machine learning algorithms such as regression, classification, and clustering.
  • Strong proficiency with advanced graphics/visualization software (e.g., Tableau, Looker preferred).
  • Clear and effective written/verbal communication and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to develop strong, synergistic relationships with multiple teams.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, including the ability to complete ambiguous projects independently, prioritize tasks, find resources, and articulate decisions to leadership.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with machine learning algorithms such as regression, classification, and clustering.
  • Proficiency with visualization tools like Tableau or Looker.

  • Educational background or work experience equivalent to a bachelor's degree.
