The company seeks a mid-level Data Analyst to support the Industrial Assessments Branch at the Defense Intelligence Agency's Deputy Director for Global Integration (DDGI).

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct analysis and calculations to determine how data samples and reporting can best support the mission of the Industrial Assessments Branch and across the Agency.
  • Conduct analysis to incorporate and evaluate risk.
  • Produce algorithms in R and/or Python.
  • Understand the concept of data sampling.
  • Perform Data Visualization via Tableau and present findings to Executive Leadership.
  • Conduct exploratory data analysis with various types of data, including textual data.

Requirements

  • B.S. in a related field with 5+ years of experience or 10+ years with no B.S.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • Must have an ACTIVE TS/SCI w/ CI Poly Clearance.
  • Experience with data analysis tools, specifically Tableau.
  • Experience engaging with internal stakeholders to collect, compile, sort, analyze, and convey complex data into recommendations, assessments, or presentation formats.
  • Experience working with web developers to create dashboards, including web-enabled data collection for operations, activities, and investments (OAIs).
  • Experience with data segmentation techniques.
  • Experience with univariate and bivariate analysis.
  • Experience with database design.
  • Experience with programming languages such as R, Python, XML, Javascript, ETL Frameworks, and coding for EDA, data cleaning, and statistical tests like SQL or SQLite.
  • Experience with Big Data and analysis of large data sets, including AI/ML methods.
  • Experience with statistical packages for analyzing large datasets (e.g., SAS, Excel, SPSS).

Nice to Have

  • Experience with military service, combatant command, or Joint Chief of Staff planning activities.
  • Experience advising and analyzing large data sets in support of strategic planning.
  • Experience with multivariate regression and non-parametric analysis.

Qualifications

  • Formal educational background in a related field (B.S. or equivalent experience).
